Description

Fatal Motor Vehicle Fire Investigation - Accident or Not?
JUNE 23, 2021  0800 - 1630

Motor vehicle crashes are sometimes accompanied by fire and death to occupants.  The investigations of these crashes can be challenging and require the analysis of various experts to determine the sequence of events.  Questions that must be answered include:  Did the crash result in the fire?  Or did the fire cause the crash?  Was the fire accidental, or not?  This seminar will address some of the investigative steps that should be taken to answer some of these questions, and will feature experts who will present on various aspects of the investigation.

A Case Study will be presented to demonstrate some of the investigative steps, techniques and methods used to seek answers and draw conclusions.
